I am a 17 year-old senior that attends Foothill Technology High School and I saw your whole story and what you went through in my Government class. Its hard to see all the stress and pain you went through during your pregnancy, and I kept asking my self could that have been prevented? I think that being bored isn't a good reason to have sex, there are consequences and risks you are taking if engaging in sexual activities and in this case is was pregnancy. What I want to know is why didn't you use any protection before engaging in sexual intercourse why weren't you on birth control or why didn't Bleeker have a condom on him. I feel like these are things that should already know, because if you're having sex you're in risk of many things happening.
Even though the way you got pregnant doesn't really make any sense to me I do have to give you credit for what i feel is that you made the right decision I know it must of have had been tough going through the whole labor process but what you did was very impressive and not many women would do that. You found the person that was perfect for the baby someone who was gonna love it and take care of it as her own. I dont really have any personal experience with situations like this but from my point of view you made a great decision in not getting an abortion and giving that baby life and giving it to good hands.
